Finished the basket and I love it! I am going to use it in the kitchen as a fruit basket. It's big enough to hold grapefruits as well as my ever present Fuji apples:
I had to test it out as a market tote. While it is much too small, it is good to see that my concept was solid. I can't wait to get started on the real tote!

It's gorgeous! I love how you did the handle.
I love how it looks soft.. It's the perfect basket for picking fruit from the garden. You got talent!

O wow! Definitely "sellable" - I'll buy one - maybe even 2! How DID you "stick" the handles on it? That is just so cool!
Amazing! I love the look of the handles and the tight crochet.
i love it! you are soooo creative! i want one! and an angel too!
Your handle really gives it a classy finish. I'm inspired to go out and start raiding the bins at the front of my local grocery stores for the extra bags. I've never been that motivated to make plarn before but you make it look so great I'm dying to try.
Are you planning on posting a tutorial by chance? Could you even begin to estimate how many bags you used?
Thanks for sharing!
