In manipulating the plarn to make the basket and Earth Angel, I have gotten even more familiar with this medium. My hubby was watching me try to spin some plarn using a pen and asked if he could help, so I set him to making a drop spindle. About ten minutes later, he pops into the living room with a very rudimentary, but extremely functional spindle. I have spun the thick, looped plarn and the thin continuous strand plarn. The spinning definitely changes the properties of the plarn. It went from soft and somewhat pliable to firm and stiff.
I have tried crocheting with both sizes of plarn. The thicker plarn produced a stable structure, much like the cute raffia purses that we see for children around Spring time. The thinner plarn is interesting. I am still experimenting and will be writing a guest blog spot for my friend Glue and Glitter showcasing what can be done with thin, spun plarn. Stay tuned!

Earth Angel
We have but one Earth and this sweet little Angel reminds us to do all we can to protect her.
Made from 5 plastic grocery bags and a few left over beads, Earth Angel stand just barely 4.25" from the hem of her gown to tip of her delicate halo.
The little splashes of green on her gown and wings are from the printing on the grocery bags and add a touch of visual texture and interest.
This is my first time doing 'thread crochet' with plastic grocery bags and I think she is just beautiful. She would look equally graceful sitting on a shelf or decorating a Christmas tree.
I think white bags with a touch of blue writing would look stunning, especially with blue rocailles on her halo.

To Market, To Market....Almost!
Finished the basket and I love it! I am going to use it in the kitchen as a fruit basket. It's big enough to hold grapefruits as well as my ever present Fuji apples:
I had to test it out as a market tote. While it is much too small, it is good to see that my concept was solid. I can't wait to get started on the real tote!

It's Taking Shape
As promised, here are pictures of the Market Tote so far:
I am using a coiled basket technique using crochet and a filler cord. In this case, the filler cord is more plastic bags.
I have never tried this technique before, so I did the easiest coiling method, which is circular. It looks amazingly like a raffia basket to me.
I love how the bottom looks. The white strand is my row marker. I will remove it once the basket is complete.
My coils are a bit uneven. As this is my first attempt, I'm not going to stress myself out about it too much.
It is much smaller than I thought it would turn out, so I am going to undo the top three coils and turn this into a basket. My next project will be an oval bottom Market Tote (which is what I wanted in the first place).

Well...Plarn It!!
I had to take the market tote apart last night. The technique is solid, but the pattern wasn't going where i wanted it to. Today I am trying again, as I have time. I hope to get the base of the bag made today before I head off to work.
It is going much faster than I anticipated. I have completed the base and am starting up the sides now. I need to make more plarn in this particular colorway to finish the tote, but I am very pleased so far. I am not sure how large this end up being as I am sort of experimenting as I go along. Right now it seems a bit on the smallish side.

Finding a Place for Plarn
After a couple of days of trying out different crochet techniques and being less than thrilled with the results, I finally put my finger on what has been bothering me. I, like a lot of other fiber artists, have been trying to make plarn act like yarn. It isn't yarn and isn't going to behave the same way.
First, most of the items I've seen made with plarn have been in single crochet with a large gauge hook. The result has been thick, puffy stitches without much character. I thought that perhaps a more decorative stitch would work, but I soon discovered that this is not the case. Plarn is not as supple as yarn. This means that the end result of decorative stitches, such as Filet Crochet, is misshapen and awkward looking. Additionally, because plarn is somewhat thick, the decorative stitches are huge and not at all attractive! Finally, plarn is not very strong, certainly not as strong as yarn. So I have been reluctant to explore very far into the open weave designs. I would like to keep the stitches small, tight and close together to give the finished product as much strength as possible.
Working with the bags I have on hand, I kept thinking how much it looks like raffia. This got me to thinking about raffia baskets, which falls perfectly in line with my desire to make a European Market Tote. Because my plarn is made by interlocking loops of plastic bag, I knew that traditional coiled basket weaving wouldn't work well. So I have been trying out a combination of single crochet and coiled basket techniques and I am really pleased with the results. I hope to have a photo to show by tomorrow. I am about halfway done with the body of my trial market tote.

Making Plarn More Appealing
I love the concept of Plarn (plastic yarn made from recycled grocery bags) but have been somewhat underwhelmed by the products made with it. Mostly an array of pouches, purses and tote bags that all look, well, to be straight up honest...frumpy.
While I am eclectic in my tastes, liking everything from starkly elegant to luxuriously decadent, frumpy isn't something that I like. In fact, I hate it! So today I am embarking on a quest to find a way to make Plarn more appealing.
Taking into account the properties of Plarn: it is not elastic as you work with it; but it will stretch under pressure; if you twist it, it compresses quite thin and loses flexibility; if you leave it untwisted, it is fluffy and soft; the finished crochet fabric is thick; the colors readily available to me are, well, not exactly eye catching (khaki brown and white); I have decided to work on something structural such a Market Tote. Not one of those mesh bag looking things, but something more basket shaped, elegant and refined that brings to mind the open markets in Europe.
I plan to use a combination of single crochet, double crochet and filet stitch. I will post pictures as I progress and, if it turns out particularly nice, I will probably post a tutorial on my other blog.

ArtByCat - Mini Album Challenge
There are some people that you can tell, just by the way they express themselves, they are fun and enjoy being alive. Cat is one of those people. She doesn't take herself, or those around her, too seriously and she just enjoys new experiences. She reminds me a bit of my Mom...even loves Teal. Gotta love a gal who loves Teal.

Dr Pepper! Hooked! Addicted! Totally!
Do you prefer cats or dogs?
I have always had a dog, but Chance (my lab) died about 10 years ago, hard to replace him, He went everywhere with me, to work, shopping, fishing, even had his own loveseat in the living room and his own swimming pool, knew more tricks than any dog I ever saw. Lawdie I still miss him. I do love cats too altho their self sufficientness (spelling??) drives me crazy LOL.
What is next to your computer right now?
lol I am a clean freak, my house is disgustingly clean BUT my computer area is always trashed! But it has all the things I need near it since this is how I do my art. I have rice krispie treats hehehehee a cup with scissors, fingernail file and a couple pencils and pens and a drawing notebook for when a artistic idea pops into my head. Software piles everywhere, paper for
printers, remote to tv, cell phone, chap stick (addicted), cigarettes, drink and priority is a bag of pistachios!
Do you like your handwriting?
Nope I hate my handwriting, very sloppy.
Would you bungee jump?
ohh yeah, have many times, but not sure I would now that I am older.
If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be and what would
ask him/her?
This is gonna sound silly, but I have always read romance novels, but my sister always read the scary books, you know the kind, Steven King, Dean Koontz etc, Well my sister made me read a autobiography of Dean Koontz and he talked about how he went down to the Gautelupe Islands or somewhere and the huge sea turtles talked to him, yep he swears they talked to him, I
always wanted to ask him, what crack pipe he was smoking! LOL Weird how some things stick in your mind huh? LOL Otherwise maybe John Kennedy.

What prompted you to join the Mini Scrapbook Challenge?
I joined because I have never scrapbooked before and wanted to try it!
When you first saw the album, what did you think you would do with it?
I had lots of ideas but my eyes did not want to cooperate LOL I think scrapbooking is a artform in itself.
What did you end up doing with it?
I was in the process of making some prints for a local gal for her coffee shop so figured I would incorporate that into the mini book as when I saw the colors of my book the first thing I thought was that the color was like coffee.
Is there a theme to your album? Why/why not?
Yes, its all about coffee, and the slang words people call coffee, like java, cuppa joe etc
Now that you have worked with one, would you want to do another one?
Ohhh yeah, but I cringe at the thought of where will I store all the new supplies! LOL
What would you do differently next time?
I think I would spend days if not weeks thinking about the topic and all the different possibilities, Putting it together in my mind first over and over and learn that it is ok to have different textures and papers and ribbons and layers and all kinds of things in it, I would have to steer away from digital thinking.

When did you first start crafting? Why?
giggles, I was 14 and my mother wanted me to start doing ceramics, I soooooooo did NOT want to. But she said if I did one thing and still didnt like it, she would never ask me again to do them.. So in all my teenage wisdom I thought I would pick something to do that she wouldn't like ( I was a stubborn child ) ( still am stubborn LOL ). So I looked all around the shop and finally picked the one thing I just knew she would say no to.. A boobie cup! You know the one I am talking about, the one with the hole in the nipple to drink through. Mom choked and coughed and
choked some more and said "Sure go for it!" After that I was hooked on ceramics and arts and crafts of some form or other and even owned my own ceramic shop in the 70's and 80's. BTW Uncle Harry bought that boobie cup from me and still has it!
What is your favorite material/technique?
Now a days since my eyesight got so bad, I mainly work with digital art, cause I cant see to paint details but using the computer it is the right distance for me to still be able to see. I love vectors cause you make one size yet they can be opened in a small size or as large as a wall mural and
never lose resolution. (Vector graphics is the creation of digital images through a sequence of
commands or mathematical statements that place lines and shapes in a given two-dimensional or three-dimensional space.)
What are your favorite colors to work with?
Teal, fushia, purple, the brighter the better! The docs said I would be legally blind by the time I turned 50, so thats when I started working with really bright colors. I am over 50 now and the eye disease has NOT progressed as bad as they thought it would! wooohooooo
Are you good with written instructions, or do you need pictures?
Don't read much anymores LOL give me pictures. Do people really read the instructions included in packages? Are we supposed to?
If you could learn one new technique, what would it be? Why?
perhaps knitting, or stained glass or maybe woodworking or metal sculptures anything I havent tried yet! I love learning new things!
If you could give one piece of advice to a young person first starting out, what would it be?
practice, practice, practice, practice... oh and no matter what anyone says about your "art" do what makes you happy and that happiness will shine through and it will always be good! and Don't let others steer you away from something that appeals to you. Find your niche but dont be afraid to venture into new things IF you want! Do it for you, not cause someone thinks you should.

After a lovely few weeks' experience of DSL inconsistency, I am happy to finally send out the much anticipated update to the mini album challenge...and what an album it is! CoffeeMonkey is an amazing visual artist. When I first saw her album all I could think was...I want to see more! With a mind as active as hers, more is exactly what you get. I think I might if I had to to win some kind of reality TV show like Amazing Race or The Mole or something, but otherwise, I don't really think so. I am definitely too much of a scaredy cat when it comes to that stuff. Winning a show like that might be a big enough motivator though, I think.

I love challenging myself to help me "find" and refine my style. And finding out what different artists come up with was an added bonus! I had to be part of it!

Created a little "Angel's Pretty Little Encyclopedia of Birds" that my angel could carry with her and use to research all the birds she comes across in her worldly travels.

Yes, because a recent customer of mine who wanted a custom order had requested an angel with the theme of birds. I ended up making three so she could choose one. The rest are up for sale in my shop. I had so much fun with the theme that I couldn't help continuing it!

Make 20 of them! I am so inspired by this challenge! I keep several different etsy shops so time is limited for me at the moment (I have a sort of artist's ADD - can't keep to one project/medium/shop at a time) but I keep eyeing your shop periodically wanting to buy a few of them and pining for the time I will be able to use them.

I was probably 2 or 3 yrs old. I used to sit with my grandfather up in his attic where he used to work on his own art. I had a little table next to his with colored pencils, coloring books and scissors. I just loved coloring & cutting out the pictures and making garlands. We would just sit quietly doing our own thing and periodically checking in with each other on our progress. Those were the good old times. (Grandpa up in heaven: Thanks for all those good times & I love you!)

Don't give up. Know that this journey is one of learning. Mistakes will be made. It's what you do with what you've learned that counts. Don't despair. Keep your eyes open. Observe the what, the how, the why, the when and the where and use it in your art. That's a lot of different pieces of advice, sorry. ; )

Unique Garden - Mini Challenge
Today's featured album is by Unique Garden. This lady has so much talent, I am not sure where to start! I am a pretty good cook, but Unique Garden has much more than food brewing in her kitchen! From bath and body products made from ingredients she has gathered from her own garden to dog treats that look good enough to nibble. I'd like to meet Lady Godiva. I'd just like to speak to her. She must havebeen an awesome person with a great mind. I can't imagine havingthe courage to do what she did in this day and age, much less in her time!

When you first saw the album, what did you think you would do with it?
I had NO idea. I really expected a bit larger "mini" so I had something totally different in mind. When I saw it I thought it was beautiful but was intimidated for a bit. I took a few hours to come up with something.
What did you end up doing with it?
I made mine into a friendship book. It has room for two pictures, presumably one of you and one of the friend you would give the book to. The rest is sayings and flowers, all geared toward friendship.
Is there a theme to your album? Why/why not?
Friendship. Because I always work my scrapping into themes. It just seems right to me.
Now that you have worked with one, would you want to do another one?
I'd love to!
What would you do differently next time?
Oh yes, I rarely do the same thing twice! That is part of the fun. I like unique things!
A Little About Your Art/Craft:
When did you first start crafting? Why?
I was an only child and we moved frequently & often lived in rural areas. I had to make my own fun & when you couldn't be outside there had to be something to do inside, so I began making things at a very early age.
What is your favorite material/technique?
I do so many different crafts that it is hard to say. Along with creating new recipes for my bath and body shop, I'd have to say that I really enjoy making wreaths and Christmas ornaments. Each one is different even when they are similar, and they bring such joy. Not to mention that you can finish one fairly fast. Sometimes it takes me days to finish a piece of jewelry or weeks to do a cross stitch. As I am working on those type things I can create an ornament or wreath & get that gratification buzz right away. I have kind of a craft ADD disorder, so I always have multiple projects going at one time!
What are your favorite colors to work with?
I am really into greens, oranges, and lavenders right now for some reason. But that changes
frequently. I am a color freak. I love color!
Are you good with written instructions, or do you need pictures?
Written clearly is great. I have a hard time with those instructions on kids toys though. You know the ones I mean. The ones that you sit up half the night on Christmas eve trying to understand so you can get the gift together, only to find that you have extra pieces! With those, even pictures don't help!
If you could learn one new technique, what would it be? Why?
I've always wanted to learn to do stained glass because I think it is so beautiful, and
all those colors!!!!!!!!!!!
If you could give one piece of advice to a young person first starting out, what would it be?
Try everything, do what you love and don't stop learning.

I'd like to meet Lady Godiva. I'd just like to speak to her. She must havebeen an awesome person with a great mind. The courage that it took for herher to protest her husbands political views, especially in the way she did.She was a leader and forward thinker in a time when woman were not permittedto have a mind of their own, much less to speak it. I can't imagine havingthe courage to do what she did in this day and age, much less in her time!

The Beach Cottage - Mini Challenge
I love color. My walls are saturated in bright colors: yellow, green, red and even pink. I lean towards rich and warm furnishings that are comfortable and inviting. But there is a part of me that longs for crisp white walls and windows framed with lengths of lightweight fabrics in soft hues of blue and grey, rippling with a salt scented breeze...furniture that is pale and simple with overstuffed cushions and low tables showcasing large vases overflowing with huge tropical blooms in oranges and pinks...ah, yes, the beach and all its exotic and intoxicating beauty.
The Beach Cottage is all about pretty things, a simple lifestyle, and a gentle attitude. With gifts, jewelry, art & home decor, made with love by happy hands (& supplies for yours) there is much to see. What I love most about this shop is the colors. Just browsing left me feeling refreshed and rested. Everything is soft and soothing, yet colorful...just like walking along the beach...blues and whites and greys with touches of pinks and yellows and greens. There is something new and slightly unexpected in each listing. This is an ecclectic shop done with a cohesiveness that is surprising and enticing. What is your favorite morning beverage?
pineapple/orange juice
Do you prefer cats or dogs?
I like kitties, but I'm definitely a dog person, esp little ones.
What is next to your computer right now?
A small piece of driftwood shaped like a fish that I picked up on a beach in St. Croix, my checkbook & a diet coke.? Almost everything's electronic now, but I keep my checkbook handy in case I can talk someone into selling something they didn't intend to part with.
Do you like your handwriting?
It depends because it changes with my mood (literally looks like a different person wrote it). If I concentrate on my sweet mama, my handwriting looks almost like hers; ditto for several others close to me. My own script's a little backhanded (unusual for a right handeder; have been told it's because I'm introspective). Years ago I was very good at calligraphy & learned that the trick to good handwriting is to "don't write". The trick is drawing. If you draw each letter, your handwriting's nicer. These days I'm being feeling lazy & my writing's become scribbly & haphazard. Wow, I had a lot to say about handwriting, maybe it's more important to me than I realized?
Would you bungee jump?
No. Period. No.
If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be and what would ask him/her?
I'd like to meet Ginger Rogers ("Teach me to dance!") & John Wayne ("Can I just sit in your lap & hug you for awhile") If you meant someone who had a larger impact on the world, I definitely Ghandi. I'd ask for tips on self discipline.

The albums snagged me, they're so small & well made. But mostly because it was a nice thing for you to do & I'm drawn to nice. Also it intrigued me that you were willing to give up control, no rules. That's hard to do; most people, most of the time, want to be The Boss.
When you first saw the album, what did you think you would do with it?
Nothing, truly. It's so perfect & pretty I hated to mess with it.
3. What did you end up doing with it?
Since the challenge was "Scrappiest Scrapper", I decided to be true to that & use only scraps I already had. The little papers & shapes were already cut, the images already stamped & colored. Even the little word "notes" was sitting in my scrap box. I didn't buy anything or cut anything (except your business card). All I did was glue.
Is there a theme to your album? Why/why not?
I abandoned the 3 themes I had in mind & decided just to do a little book of backgrounds. I hope someone else will enjoy pasting their own words or pics in it.
Now that you have worked with one, would you want to do another one?
Sure! They'd make great gifts, wouldn't they? It's fun to see what the other participants did, what inspired them.
What would you do differently next time?
Technique, I don't know. But I'd like to do a little time machine. That's all I'm saying about that.

When did you first start crafting? Why?
Stringing buttons or making pine straw necklaces maybe I had a very creative grandmother & she kept my little mind busy & my hands out of trouble.
What is your favorite material/technique?
That depends on when you ask me. I've dabbled in a lot of things over the years... probably not what you're looking for, but my answer is "composition". I like vignettes. I straighten pictures in waiting rooms & arrange the magazines, slightly move the chairs. It's not about perfection (I prefer imperfection), it's about creating visual interest.
What are your favorite colors to work with?
White. White is my favorite. I'm inspired by wispy, dreamy, light faded greys, creams & blues & caramels (for relaxing) & bright, tropicals in smaller amounts (for cheerfulness). I opted for the brights for this project.
Are you good with written instructions, or do you need pictures?
Instructions are usually too much or too little information OR from a perspective I can't grasp. I tend to get bored & scan them, leading to mistakes. (I'm also terrible at giving instructions, I use way too many words.) I'm very visual, learning better from pictures or better yet, from watching.
If you could learn one new technique, what would it be? Why?
Sewing! If I could do it well & have several sets of slipcovers for my furniture using pale, cotton quilts in pale prints & of course, lots of white. And I'd make simple tops & pants that slip on & off. Easy, breezy, beautiful.
If you could give one piece of advice to a young person first starting out, what would it be?
First starting out crafting: Color outside the lines. Squint your eyes. Look at the big picture AND the little one. Advice in general (not just crafting): laugh at yourself, step away from the computer & get lots of fresh air.

PurrPrints - Mini Challenge
One of the many wonderful benefits of belonging to a group such as Etsy is the opportunity to meet innovative and caring people. PurrPrints is another wonderful graphic artist (I so wish I could draw!). She loves animals and donotes 5% of her profits to the Shamrock Foundation, a local no-kill shelter. Additionally, she is a member of Etsy for Animals.
The nifty thing about PurrPrints art is that she has captured the quirky elegance of the cat without falling prey to the kitschy country look that so many cat artists succumb to. She works with simple silhouettes and balances them against intricate backgrounds or fill designs. But cats are not all she does! She also does some wonderful abstract work.

Just plain cool filtered water, actually. I know, how terribly dull of me :)
Do you prefer cats or dogs?
Cats! (in case my book, shop, and profile pic didn't make that clear--though actually I do like dogs and draw them as well--I grew up in quite a menagerie)
What is next to your computer right now?
A whole bunch of art supplies and stuff for school that I'm supposed to be working on.
Do you like your handwriting?
When I focus, I do; I took calligraphy so I can make it look nice--but my everyday handwriting looks like a chicken grabbed a pen and ran across the page with it.
Would you bungee jump?
I ask myself this periodically, actually. It looks like fun, but I'm petrified of heights.
If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be and what would ask him/her?
Oh wow, the classic tough getting to know you question. It would be a toss up between Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha), Moses, Mohammed, and Jesus; I'd like to know what any of them think about how people use their ideas today.

What prompted you to join the Mini Scrapbook Challenge?
Great excuse to avoid schoolwork! No, just kidding--well, kinda. Really it's because I love miniatures and I hadn't ever done a book project before, so I thought it would be a fun way to push my boundaries.
When you first saw the album, what did you think you would do with it?
I knew I'd use some of my cat drawings in miniature, but I wasn't sure whether I'd put them on mini-collages or hand-drawn backgrounds.
What did you end up doing with it?
I went for the hand-drawn background idea, and as I was planning it out the theme of "chasing the blues" just kind of popped into my head, probably because I'd had a kind of tough week the week before. I was originally just going to have the ending be a picture of a piece of chocolate, but when I was talking about it with my husband he suggested something else. That's when it dawned on me that the book could either be a cheer-up gift (with an ending like chocolate) or a thank you kind of gift (with an ending like "you"), and I didn't want to limit the options so I decided to leave it open for the buyer to decide.
Is there a theme to your album? Why/why not?
Yep. I think I've covered that one in the previous question, so I'll refrain from repeating myself here (even though I'm exactly the kind of chatterbox who likes to repeat herself--lol)
Now that you have worked with one, would you want to do another one?
Maybe, though I think I'd like to try something slightly larger--say maybe in the 4x6 range--just to push myself to do new things. The books are adorable and really fun though, so I'll probably come back to them at some point.
What would you do differently next time?
Probably glue more and draw less, both to try something different and to use my time more efficiently.

Forever ago. I really can't remember when I started. My grandmother was a painter, and I know I did a lot of arts and crafts with her, but I think I've been doing it too long to know the original "why." Now I do it because it prompts me to use completely different mental muscles than my work as a PhD student requires, and that's incredibly valuable for my sanity
What is your favorite material/technique?
Anything with ink--drawing, inkwashes, dipping oddly shaped or textured materials into ink bottles and laying/pulling them across a page to see what happens...
What are your favorite colors to work with?
Purple and blue. Unless you're counting black and white--in which case definitely black and white :)
Are you good with written instructions, or do you need pictures?
Depends on who wrote the instructions. Sometimes I can follow pictures better, sometimes words.
If you could learn one new technique, what would it be? Why?
Sewing. I'd really love to make some cool pillows and bags and other fun fabric stuff out of my designs.

Art and crafting are too painstaking and underpaid to do for any reason other than sheer joy. If you're not loving what you're doing, try something else. And switch to new materials and/or subjects every time you start to get frustrated or bored.

TrapezoidArt - Mini Challenge
I love math and find myself using it all the time, most especially in my creative endeavors. But I believe that TrapezoidArt loves math even more than I do. Now you may wonder, as I did when I first saw the name, what is TrapezoidArt? The formula, according to the artist, is: ink + paper + drawing + cutting + glueing + lot of patience = Trapezoid Art.
I have a personal attraction for clean line drawings. I am completely unable to draw a straight line even with the help of a ruler. So I admire anyone who has that skill. TrapezoidArt's work is clean, concise and extremely beautiful. Her eye for proportion and scale is amazing. I love that her work is black and white as I believe it really lets the beauty of her drawings shine. The colored backgrounds further enhance the simple beauty of her work. I have a personal attraction for clean line drawings. I am completely unable to draw a straight line even with the help of a ruler. So I admire anyone who has that skill. I was planning on creating an "Enchanted Garden".

I created a book with some world wonders as some other contestant had picked a garden theme.

I decided to go with my line of artwork and create a "Little Book of World Wonders".
Now that you have worked with one, would you want to do another one?
Oh sure, already made a few and they are much better than my initial one.
What would you do differently next time?
Keep it simple and avoid overdoing it.
A Little About Your Art/Craft:
When did you first start crafting? Why?
Must be from when I was little. My aunt was very creative and used to weave animals out of paper scrap and I tried to copy her.
What is your favorite material/technique?
Intricate ink drawings on paper and then cutting them out and glueing them onto a different ase.
What are your favorite colors to work with?
I seem to favor black and white.
Are you good with written instructions, or do you need pictures?
I do okay with written instructions. My memory is good and I always take a quick glance at instructions before starting anything even though the end product looks simple.
If you could learn one new technique, what would it be? Why?
It has to be Pyrography (woodburning). I am sure most people will like to learn to"writing with fire".
If you could give one piece of advice to a young person first starting out, what would it be?
Don't give up and if put your heart into it, your business will surely be successful.
